My Joy Complete, Anonymous

I grew up, surrounded by family who meeting with the local church. In 1990 my family moved from Taiwan to the U.S.; I was only seven then. Right now I am a junior in high school and enjoying every bit of it. I'm into the fine arts--painting, drawing, etc.--and I also enjoy music.

One of the greatest things I ever discovered is singing. Even though I do not have the greatest voice in the world, I enjoy it so much. Through singing to the Lord, I found joy. Sometimes when you have fun with your friends, the “joy” does not linger afterwards. But this joy that I discovered has refreshed me into a new person. The aftermath is so wonderful.

The past couple of years I've attended a Bible camp and I loved the group singing, because it fills me with happiness. I get really excited and do not want to let it go! Praise the Lord! Thank God that I have a voice and I can enjoy Him always!
